New Ferrari 458 Spider

Our brand new Ferrari 458 Spider has arrived for the 2014 driving experience season.

Costing over ?230,000 the car comes with almost every optional extra and takes centre stage as part of our line up of supercars.

This amazing supercar is Ferrari's replacement for the Ferrari F430.

As soon as development images of the Ferrari 458 Spider where spied we knew we had to have one on our driving experience line-up.

Thankfully our faith in the Italian supercar legends has been repaid as the new model is superb!

The new Ferrari 458 Spider is available as part of a number of driving experiences here at Thruxton

The motoring press have been bowled over by the Ferrari 458:

Fifth Gear: "The 458 Spider is the new supercar benchmark, delivering genuine supercar performance and handling, all the thrills you expect from a Ferrari, plus surprising refinement and ease of use."

Jeremy Clarkson exclaimed: "I know this car is ?170,000 but I don't care, I don't care if this car eats one of my legs. The Ferrari 458 is one of the all time greats. It really is absolutely, unbelievably, mesmerizingly brilliant"

Autoexpress: "The technology-laden new 458 Spider is an engineering triumph, with an excellent V8 engine, brilliant handling and quintessential Ferrari looks"

James May (Top Gear): "It's a better car than my old F430 in every single way. It's really bloody annoying"

EVO: "I can't believe how far Ferrari have taken it. . . . . it's go any time, any place performance" Check out their video review here also a video of EVO putting the Ferrari 458 Spider through its paces on track"

CAR: "No doubt about it, this is the most rounded supercar you can currently buy and is likely to remain so. . . . Is the 458 Spider really worth an estimated ?60k more than an Audi R8 V10? Judging by the number of five-star ratings in our spec sheet, yes. If you can afford the Ferrari, it is the better car and we'd definitely recommend the premium"

AUTOCAR: "If you can run to the estimated ?170,000 Ferrari is asking, there are few reasons not to. The price may be higher than the old F430, but the 458 is a much more complete package"
